The Doug Lawrence Orchestra is claiming its place among the elite. On a recent Saturday night, as the Orchestra unspooled one glorious number after another, the sizeable crowd never really left the dance floor. The flute and piano at the ceremony were just beautiful, and the band playing for dinner was sublime. You played all those wonderful standards by Gershwin, Cole Porter and Ellington and by the time you kicked into the party groove, everyone was just blown away. We didn't want to stop dancing, especially to our Motown favorites. Please tell the rest of the band how much we loved them. Thanks again.
